Downtowns all over the country are the place to live, and it’s easy to understand why. They are often the epicenters of culture and creativity, of hipness and newness, and vibrant with possibilities for the future of a city. Downtown Temple is no exception.
There is a lot happening in Downtown Temple and it is constantly changing. This is a young yet historic downtown full of vibrancy, opportunity and movement.
Downtown Temple is an exciting alternative to single-family homes in more traditional, suburban neighborhoods. It is a perfect fit for young single professionals as well as empty-nesters. This kind of “Austin-style” urban living means residents have easy access to all the city has to offer: a growing commercial district; the best in music and art; fabulous restaurants; great bars; plus community events, festivals, street parties, and other fun public activity. The perks to living downtown can’t be beat.
Enjoy loft living or choose a home in our adjacent Historic Home District.
For a taste of all the downtown Temple activity, we encourage you to participate in “First Fridays” each month, where downtown restaurants, bars, shops, entertainment and more offer discounts and incentives to patrons wanting to partake in the urban experience. Check it out!

Well since I work & live downtown in my building, it’s awesome! I can work anytime of the day or night & don’t have to drive anywhere.
And having a garage access in my building is super sweet……out of the weather just like at a house. No yardwork……but I do have a rooftop area where I can have plants & still get outside for fresh air.
The balcony also provides a great space for early morning coffee – quick lunch – or nice evening dinner as time & temps permit!. There’s lots of convenience with all the restaurant choices downtown and more coming. I feel safe and secure in my space (which I have a lot of) and of course the police department is right down the street. I have been here 18 years and love seeing the development that is going on. It has been long in coming and I am excited about the energy that is happening in downtown and the steady growth of Temple area.
